So today is the day - and we celebrate HISER Final Conference! This significant event is held in Brussels, La Plaza Hotel, in the framework of Raw Materials Week, one of most recognizable gatherings of Construction Research enviroment. We started with our standarisation workshop, so please grab some first photos:
The workshop is built on the key findings and outcomes from the Horizon 2020 project HISER about Certification and Standardization issues related to new products involving secondary C&DW-recovered raw materials. The workshop offers to the EU, the manufacturers and any other Stakeholders the opportunity to discuss the state of the art and existing gaps for unmet needs in Standardization and Certification for innovative products developed within the project (with a deeper focus on Concrete/Aggregates and WPC-Wood Plastic Composites), concurring to boost the market uptake of new solutions and products.
The main part of HISER Conference, entitled: Advances in Recycling and Recovery of Raw Materials from C&D Waste is starting right now. Expect our further report yet. :)
