HISER, as a project focused on developing of innovative, cost-effective and green solutions in the area of construction, has been promoted during events of EU Green Week (April - June 2018). Tecnalia (project co-ordinating Partner) and Rina-C (HISER consortium member) participated in conferences and workshops in Brussels, using opportunity to present their achievements within the project framework.
Those events, which both were held between 22 - 24 of May 2018, had been dedicated mainly to the discussion about various aspects of converting construction waste into energy-efficient buildings. And the EU Green Cities Summit Conference (both events was organized in the frame of it) was a three-day-long main event of the EU Green Week, planned as a cycle of different events all over the Europe, scheduled in different European places. A cycle itself has been dedicated to those who have ideas or experiences on how to develop a city in sustainable way. Numerous events, taking place from April to June, look at various challenges facing cities, from air quality, to noise, waste or water management, and urban planning and so on, including the role citizens can play in making cities greener. They provide an opportunity to network, share and learn from best practices.
